You Need To Be Informed and Aware About the Potential Risks Of Chemical Softeners. Your fabric softener or dryer sheets may include some of the following potentially toxic ingredients: alpha-terpineol, benzyl acetate, camphor, benzyl alcohol, limonene, ethyl acetate, pentane, and chloroform.
